Mooshuns are moody cushions designed to support children in their social emotional learning. At Mooshuns we are environmentally conscious so have always repurposed microfibre and coral fleece fabrics to make our moody cushions. Originally, Mooshuns were made from microfibre cleaning cloths. These days, we make our moody cushions from coral fleece blankets. For many years now, Mooshuns have been filled with recycled PET fibre filling.

Mooshuns can be washed in the washing machine in cold water on a delicate cycle. Dry your Mooshun flat if you can. The outside dries quickly but the inside needs a bit longer.

Mooshuns are moody. They show a huge range of emotions. It’s important for social emotional learning to represent all the feelings on the spectrum – positive and negative.

Mooshuns are messy. Our emotions are never clearly defined with neat, sharp edges or outlines so neither are Mooshuns.

Talking about feelings is an important skill that children need to develop. Talking about feelings is also a habit children need in order to develop positive mental health. At Mooshuns our aim is to provide parents and anyone who works with kids engaging tools for social emotional learning which can help start conversations about moods and emotions.

Fluffy Mooshuns

Each Fluffy Mooshun is made from a luxurious coral fleece fabric and has a hand-stitched face with a unique emotion and shape. Fluffy Mooshuns are available in a wide range of colours and moods.

Fluffy Mooshuns are available in different sizes:
